One of our lovely celeb clients wanted to do a great party for her daughter in her backyard.  She let her daughter really take the lead on what she wanted — and boy did she have some fabulous ideas!  She wanted a safari party — wanted a petting zoo, for sure!  But not your everyday petting zoo for this superstar.  We got her an exotic petting zoo with zebras, camels the kids actually RODE in the front yard, and all sorts of other fab creatures.  She also wanted Glam — a spa service came in and did full service treatments on all the little ladies after they swam and played (and rode camels!) all day!  We needed a way to blend these two ideas together so we came up with GLAM SAFARI.  All of our favorite Safari elements — glammed and glittered and gilded to make them extra FABULOUS!!!! Candy bar was another MUST have… so we did  a SWEET section that the girls absolutely adored.   We  love how this party turned out.  The pink … the gold… the animals.  It was just gorgeous and fun and all that we hoped for — and more importantly all the birthday girl hoped for AND MORE!!!! 

Here are some shots from a fun Plane party we did recently.  It was a Whole COOP and CABOODLE package… so we handled the cupcakes (mom also asked us to add a cake… which we did!), fresh flowers, large lollipops, adult food and some extra snacks and special juice and cups for the kiddos – in addition to the fabulousness you get (goodie bags, decor) you get with a theme party at the COOP.  I really wanted to figure out a cool and fun centerpiece… I was thinking of clouds.  I was so excited when I thought of using the FLOWERS as clouds– as well as some foam cut out clouds on sticks coming out of the flowers arrangements (hydrangeas and white carnations…. )  I LOVE how it turned out.  Clouds, clouds, clouds… I used a lot of cloud images for this party.  The cloud looked more cool and modern than a plane image, I thought.  Mom was so so incredibly sweet… and she love love loved every bit of it.  Her daughter didn’t want ANYTHING girlie… but I still think the party had enough of a feminine feel to make it extra special!

Ohhhh — I LOVE this party.  This is one we did for a lovely 15 year old girl recently.  She is a bit older than our “usual” patrons — so I got to go a little more sophisticated with the decor.  The goodie bags were still super fun … and the party was all girls so we had fun with dress up elements!!   We did different PIXAR characters  — the “Jessie’s” got red tutus and cowgirl hats, the Minions got these hilarious Minion hats with a  yellow tutus and yellow boas, the lady “Sullys” got turquoise tutus, a purple boa and a Sully mask, and the “Mike Wasowoski” girls got a green tutu and boa and  Green wig. They were such a hit — the SECOND each girl arrived she ran over — grabbed an alter ego for the evening and got dressed!  They were so playful and fun… makes me hopeful that my own little girl will still be sweet when she’s 15!!!  For the decor — I just went with pink and gold glitter, basically!  Pink carnations in gorgeous gold vases ran down the whole table — and I made cut outs of the birthday girl’s favorite PIXAR characters to include in the centerpiece.  I also did her name in wooden block letters in front of the vases.  The birthday banners were all glittery gold an natural burlap with loads of pink ribbon accents.  I kept it COOP-ie with the pink dotted napkins and LOVED the mini glass Martinelli’s apple juices — glammed up with glitter and tulle bows.  Love love love them!!  You are NEVER too old to have a FAB bash at the COOP — and I think this party proves just that!!!

Super short post here… just wanted to share a couple of cool photos from a POWER RANGER COOP an dCABOODLE party we did a while back.  I love the dots in red and black — and the cool masks as decor on the flower vases, don’t you.  This was a great fun vibrant party… hope you enjoy the photos!!

We did this FAB Surf Shack/ Beach party about a month ago in a clients mom’s backyard.  Grannie was the hostess with the mostess when Reeve and Xander celebrated their first birthday!  If I were a mom of one year old twins I doubt I’d have a party at MY house either… (Grannie to the rescue!!)  It was a lovely backyard that we helped make even more beautiful with all of out at home party goodies! As usual, we kept things bold, bright and modern — keeping with an orange, blue and apple green color scheme.   We did a beautiful treat table (the amazing Julie at blue cupcakes never lets us down….) with cake cupcakes, cake balls, rice krispie treats on sticks, nutter butter flip flops (how cute are those!!!), some color coordinated candies and goldfish in a goldfish shaped glass bowl, naturally!  Fresh flowers galore and a really cool inflatable surfboard backdrop to really anchor the whole area.  It really looked so darling.  This is the first party at home that we used the smaller scale tables with the toddler sized chairs for the kids to sit and eat — and I think it looked great.  The goodie bags were filled with sand pails and assorted sand toys, an inflatable beach ball, cool shades and a beach ball shaped sippy cup.  WE filled the side yard with varying sized beach balls for the kids to play — and we also arranged for a bubble show.  Beachy fun for everyone!  Mom said that all her guests said it was the most gorgeous one year old’s party they had ever been to… we LOVE to hear that!

Ahhh— The Midsummer Knights Dreamy party…. a FAVORITE here at the COOP.  This is a great one because it’s so beautiful and girlie — but the boys get Knight costumes and swords so they are just as THRILLED with it as the beautiful girls with their fairy get ups (tutus, ribbon head garland and fairy wings).  We have posted pics of these parties before — but we had a great photog shoot one recently so I decided to share.  I love the fresh flowers added to this one… so pretty.  Fresh flowers are always available as an add on at the COOP — we think they really add a beautiful touch to all parties (even boys parties!!)

This party was soooooo fun!!!!!  EVERYONE — adults and kids alike ADORED the fun and frivolity of sticky mustaches, fedoras, boas and photo booth props!  It was just a blast.  I hand painted the chevron stripe runners which turned out great for this graphic bold party look.  I also made the centerpieces out of Elephant and Zebra masks from Michael’s that I jazzed up with mustaches and hand made chevron hats to match the theme (I love how the zebra’s ear is peeking out of his cockeyed hat!!) It was such a fun afternoon with such a fun group of people — hope you enjoy the pics!!!

This is a beautiful COOP Party at Home we just did for one of our fabulous COOP customers — who, after doing her last 2 parties at the COOP — opted to have us bring the COOP to her home for her daughters party this year.  We did a beautiful Unicorn Party in her beautiful backyard (check out that amazing view!!!) and they were absolutely THRILLED with how it turned out!  Hand made maribou maned Unicorns… absolutely!  Gorgeous cake and cupcakes from Julie at Blue Cupcake,… you bet!!!  Beautiful peonies scattered about — you know it!!!  WE even hand made a unicorn horn for the GORGEOUS stone bench they have outside their front door!  It was simply spectacular….

Another one of our COOP customers was taking 20 of her little guy’s closest friends to see MONSTERS U for his birthday this weekend… and she wanted us to provide goodie bags to hand out at the end of the movie.  So a MONSTERS U COOP CRATE was made!! — just goodie bags for this one.  LOVE the Mike eyeball on the boy bags!  Boys goodies were Mike themed… they all got a MONSTERS U Mike hat, bracelet, green cape, inflatable monster, gooey monster slime and a hand made Monsters University ID badge.  The girls bags were Sully themed… they all got turquoise tutus with purple boas (like Sully’s spots), a Sully paper cone hat, and the same inflatable monsters, and slime as the boys.  Girls got Sully Monsters U ID badges on lanyards.  So so cute.  Love how bold and graphic the bags looked!  Tres COOP-e!!!
